Gringo Bandito's Secret Recipe Chili
Serves 6 - 8.
What you'll need:- 3 lbs. cubed sirloin, London broil or tri-tip
- 4 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 6 oz. sausage
- 1 cup beef broth
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 6 oz. can spicy tomato juice
- 6 oz. beer
- 11 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 2 Tbsp salt (salt to taste)
- 3 tsp Gringo Bandito hot sauce
- 1 can of chili beans (optional)
- Saute beef in oil.
- Fry sausage until done; drain well.
- Mix together beef, sausage, and beef broth in a chili pot; bring to a slow simmer.
- Add in tomato sauce, tomato juice, beer, 6 Tbsp chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and 1 tsp of the Gringo.
- Simmer slowly for about 90 minutes or until meat is tender.
- Add remaining chili powder, Gringo Bandito and cumin.
- Simmer 30 minutes, and add salt to taste.
